Fun Daily Whims

We are always creating new and fun dishes for our seasonal market driven menus and with our Chef Daily Whim option we are not holding back. Along the way we have created some fan favorites which have landed permanent spots on our menus such as the Loaded Fries, our house cut fries topped with creamy cheddar sauce, pico de gallo and cured bacon. Or there is always the Cauliflower Salad with crisp celery hearts, sweet grapes and garbanzos tossed in a lightly spiced harissa vinaigrette. Ending with the Butcher Block where we highlight the best cuts of beef, lamb and pork and serve them along side some of the best ingredients the season throws our way. As you can see there is always something new on the menu every day.

What We Are Currently Harvesting

It is always exciting to welcome a new season as a chef and we are currently expecting a great season of wonderful local produce to hit the California markets.. With the change in the season we are having some fun here at BLVD 16 creating ways to bring this excitement to all of our menus. We are giving the menus a sprucing up and having fun with local cold weather ingredients.

Starting with our Sharable menu section, loaded fries topped with house made cheese sauce, pico de gallo and crispy bacon, our charcuterie section featuring house made rillettes, artisan pate, cured salami and spicy pickles have all become staples on our menu. Other seasonal ingredients we are excited about are local pomegranates, beets, squash, and the bounty of citrus. Meyer lemons, blood oranges, tangerines, mandarins and the oranges that made southern California famous will all make appearances on our menus. Did we catch your attention with our chef whims? If so you are not alone as these daily changing items have quickly become some of our guestsí favorites and often sell out.

Burger, Beer and a Barstool

We have given our lunch menu a facelift and invite you to pull up a barstool and chat with one of our awesome bartenders or lounge around on one of our couches or comfy chairs and stay awhile. The bar is now open at 11:30am every day with our craft cocktails, local California beers and hand selected wines from up and down the left coast. Lunch is now served all afternoon until we change over to dinner at 5:30pm so play hookie from the office and we wonít tell anyone. Promise! If the leisurely lunch doesnít fit your schedule pop in, grab a barstool and go for Chefís famed BLVD burger with natural beef, cheddar, black pepper aioli, local brioche bun and house pickles paired with thick cut fries and your choice of any of our local draft beers all for $20.

Blvd 16 bar and lounge features signature, specialty hand-crafted cocktails made up of wonderful seasonal ingredients found in our house made syrups, compotes, tinctures and bitters. California citrus and herbs as well as using natural sweeteners like organic honey and agave nectar are every day practices here at BLVD 16.

Serving a menu of small bites, that are ideal for snacking in the lounge during happy hour or as a light dinner.
